About Grapevine
Grapevine is a new company that is solely designed to promote and support top quality acoustic music and those who create and perform that music. It was set up in 2008 by two people, Bob Butler and Claire Stein, who have a wealth of experience in the music, arts and entertainment sectors and who have been responsible for running everything from large festivals to intimate venues, complex arts centres to major local authority arts programmes. Until April 2008 they owned Otterton Mill, in Devon, which as well as being one of the most popular visitor attractions in the south west, incorporated a hugely successful music venue hosting weekly sell-out shows featuring many of the world's leading acoustic musicians.
"We are passionate about music and in particular the magic that can be generated between great musicians and a live audience there's really nothing else like it. At Grapevine we've gathered together some of the best musicians around today and our mission is to make sure that as many people as possible get to experience that magic.
If you are a promoter then we can help you whether you're organising a small club, a festival, an arts centre/theatre or even a house party. Having run many venues we know exactly what you need (and what you don't!) and all our artists will be well primed so that there shouldn't be any surprises when they arrive at the venue.
