Her last album ‘Achin In Yer Bones’ reached the no1 spot for 2009 on all college radio stations across Canada. It was also nominated for a 2010 Juno award for Album of The Year and won the 2009 WCMA Songwriter and Album of The Year awards. UK TOUR CANCELLED

We are very sad to report that Romi Mayes has had to cut short her European tour because of exhaustion. She is currently in Belgium and saw a doctor this morning who told her to return home immediately for prolonged rest. In 15 years on the road this is the first time she has ever cancelled shows and not something she feels too good about ... but her health has to come first. This is a message from Romi - 

"I am so bummed to announce that I have had to cancel the rest of mine and Jason's European "Lucky Tonight" CD release tour in Holland and the UK. I suppose you can only do so much until you hit the wall and exhaustion takes over. My health has become priority and I have to get back to North America and get rest and some medical attention.
I am so sorry to all the bookers, promoters, publicists that have put time and energy into the tour and a huge apology to all the supportive fans that were looking forward to the shows. I promise to make it up to you in the future." 

We will talk to Romi later and hope to be able to reschedule this tour sometime in the not too distant future
